About Flora - Physiotherapist & Sports Performance Specialist in Spain

Flora takes a holistic, evidence-based approach, combining Manual Therapy, McKenzie Therapy and exercise rehabilitation. She’s focused on one thing: finding out why you’re in pain and sorting it out at the source - not just managing your symptoms indefinitely.

She spent nearly three years working at a top physiotherapy and sports performance clinic in Shanghai, treating international clients alongside leading specialists. That experience raised her standards and gave her a global perspective on what excellent care looks like.

While she loves working with athletes, her real expertise is spinal health. Most of her clients come to her wanting to reduce chronic pain, fix their posture and get back to living comfortably. Flora’s goal is simple: help you move better, recover properly and stay active for the long term.

World-class experience

Flora has worked with everyone from Olympic athletes to people who just want to get through the day without pain. Her CV includes:

  • Chinese Olympic Windsurfing Team (Tokyo Olympics 2021)
  • Porsche Carrera Cup Asia - motorsport physiotherapy
  • Chinese Women’s Football League
  • Netherlands Dance Theatre & Dutch National Ballet
  • Leading sports clinic in Shanghai - nearly three years treating international clients

What does this mean for you? Flora knows how to work with people who demand the most from their bodies. But you don’t need to be an elite athlete to benefit - if you simply want to live without pain and move freely, you’re in safe hands.

Movement is at the heart of everything I do. I’m not interested in treating you forever - I want to get you better and keep you that way.

Flora demonstrating Dry Needling technique

Dry Needling is a highly effective technique for releasing trigger points and easing muscle tension. Flora uses it as part of her evidence-based approach to treating persistent musculoskeletal conditions.

Outside the Clinic

Flora practises what she preaches. She’s a keen cyclist who recently pedalled to Everest Base Camp at 5,200 metres - a ten-day adventure through some of the toughest terrain on earth. As a triathlete, she raced at the Ironman 70.3 World Championship 2024 in Taupo, New Zealand.

When she’s near the coast, you’ll find her surfing - Indonesia and Australia are particular favourites. She’s visited over 40 countries and shows no signs of slowing down.

When she’s at home, she’s happiest with good food on the table: a proper steak or fresh pasta, a decent glass of wine, and good company.
