Melanie Lake

Dr Melanie Lake is a highly experienced UK-trained General Practitioner with a broad background across hospital medicine and primary care. She graduated from Bristol University Medical School in 2011 and completed her GP training in the UK, working across specialties including ENT, paediatrics, gastroenterology and breast oncology. This breadth of experience allows her to take a well-rounded, holistic approach to patient care.

Since moving to the Costa del Sol in 2018, Dr Lake has continued to maintain her UK licence to practise and works both locally and as a locum GP within the NHS. She provides comprehensive family healthcare, supporting patients of all ages with acute concerns, long-term conditions and preventative care.

In recent years, Dr Lake has developed a particular focus on menopause care, supporting many women who have struggled to find clear, evidence-based guidance in Spain. She is known for her calm, thoughtful approach and for taking the time to listen, explain and tailor care to each individual. Alongside in-person appointments at various locations in Marbella and Benalmádena  Dr Lake also offers online consultations, making trusted medical advice more accessible and convenient for patients and families.
